Red Doodle Studios offers live event drawing, portrait commissions, and original artwork rooted in traditional observation and craftsmanship. Each service is flexible, personal, and shaped to the moment or client.
Services
Live drawing is an on-site observational experience created during your event. Guests may be drawn as they move naturally through the space or while seated for a short pose, depending on preference.
Individual portraits take an average of 10 minutes, allowing for a steady flow without disrupting the event. In addition to guest portraits, live drawing may also focus on atmosphere—capturing the venue, the room, and the way people move through it to create a broader scene.
Color is typically used in an expressive, energetic way for quicker pieces, while black and white drawings offer a more classic approach. Live drawing is well suited for weddings, receptions, corporate events, and private gatherings where the goal is to add something human, engaging, and memorable.
LIVE DRAWING
Portraits focused on structure, likeness, and presence. Available in oil paint, charcoal and pencil, or pen and ink, these works emphasize observation and form over surface effects.
Portraits may be completed as quick studies or as more fully developed pieces depending on the goal of the commission. Whether rendered with economy or extended focus, each portrait is rooted in traditional draftsmanship and careful looking.
PORTRAITURE
CUSTOM ORIGINAL ARTWORK
Original artwork created through close observation and sustained studio practice. Commissions may be completed in charcoal, pen and ink, marker, or oil paint, depending on the subject and desired finish.
Pieces range from direct, expressive studies to fully developed works refined over time. Each project begins with conversation and visual planning, allowing the process to unfold thoughtfully rather than mechanically. The result is artwork that feels intentional, grounded, and personal—never generic.
